To Our Valued Investors,
For thousands and millions of Filipinos, this time of year holds truly great meaning. Many of us are accustomed to going back home to our provinces to share the blessing as well the wonderful peace this week offers. Yet, this pandemic has hit us differently.
This Holy Week, let us join our fellow Roman Catholics around the world in the solemn celebration, the salvation He offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season in the comfort of our homes. While we cannot gather in churches, chapels, or other places of worship, be reminded that anywhere and everywhere is the perfect venue to call for Jesus.
We have never forgotten the roots of the miracles during these holy days. It has been millions of decades before us and yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our responsibilities to God and, as God’s children. Finally, our responsibilities to one another.
Holy Week is a time for reflection and renewal. We must remember the grace, we must recall all that Jesus endured for us, and we must indefinitely recommit ourselves to following His example, to love and serve one another. If there’s anything that really binds everyone across all religions and beliefs, it has to be the common thread of humanity that connects us – our shared commitment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
